Reminder to all that staying current with training and lessons is mandatory, and can result in performance discipline if not completed on time !

There are several lessons coming due on March 31, 2023.......some of which are "regulatory" and those can lead to getting a Level if not completed on time.

Lessons are important because procedures, equipment, and polices change - the lessons are how the Company gets that information out to us........this will make sure everyone is on the same page and we all work together doing things the same way.

Get in the habit of checking Learning Hub every week for new assignments. That's the best way not to fall behind. Deadline date is set for Central Time so for us on the west coast (Pacific Time) lessons must be completed by 2200 (Pacific Time) on the due date to be compliant.

Article 20 in the JCBA goes into more detail about training and compensation for training. Regarding Web Based Training the contract provides: 

"Employees will be allowed sufficient time during regular work hours to accomplish web based training. If not operationally possible, the employee will be compensated for hours completing any web based training at the applicable rate".

If you don't have time during your shift to work on lessons, you may stay after your shift to complete lessons and get paid for that time (overtime applies). Keep in mind that the Company can check when you log on and off of Learning Hub and the location of the Jetset used. The expectation is that you will have time during your shift so don't let lessons pile up to the last minute.
