Back from DC after another round of negotiations......the attached update sums up the activity of the week. While we still do not have an AIP (aggreement in principle) we are very close to wrapping this up - but most likely that will not be in time for Christmas. The talks are continuing but no dates have yet been set by the NMB for our full committee's next meeting.
The process will be first the AIP, then the full committee does the "page turning" to make sure the language is correct and all intent has be captured, then the negoitation full committee will vote as to if the full book TA will be brought to the Membership for a vote, then the text will made avaiable to all Members for review, then we conduct "road shows" and or video presentations of the proposal, then the vote will take place........if yes then the JCBA will be ratified.
Please read the update, more details will be shared at the General Membership Meeting in the afternoon of December 18th.....meeting at the Hall. FYI there is no "buy out" attached with this TA, the Company can if they choose to offer a "buy-out" at anytime - it will not be part of the book.
