Attention all SFO Members
Beginning Wednesday April 3, 2024 the SFO Airport Commission is increasing their screening at access points. Additionally, some of the access points to the sterile areas are being removed (see attached map for changes).
Increased screening is for unauthorized weapons, explosives and incendiaries. Violators can be cited, which could result in suspension or revocation of your SIDA badge - no badge, no work, no pay - please check all your bags and pockets before going through an access point !!
If you are stopped and screened, please comply with the TSA Officers - they are only doing their job. If you feel the Officer is rude or disrespectful, comply and then report to Management - be sure to get the Officer's name, door number, and time of incident.
