It's that time of year again ..........
Michael J. Quill Scholarship is accepting applications from High School seniors who are college bound.
The scholarship is named for the founding President of the Transport Workers Union of America. Mr. Quill started by organizing transit workers in New York, and in 1934 he was named President of the newly formed TWU.
Applicants must be High School seniors and the son, daughter, brother, or sister of a current, retired, or deceased TWU Member in good standing (current or at time of separation).
Application is attached here and must be filled out completely and mailed to the International by April 27, 2026. Winner will be drawn at a public drawing in early June 2026.
Scholarship is for $4800.00 which is paid out over 4 years at $1200.00 per year.
