Seniority Protest Window Open
Per the JCBA Article 11 (L) the seniority protest window is open now through March 1, 2024.
As stated in the agreement you have 30 days to protest any changes you disagree with between the posting of July 31, 2023 through January 31, 2024 only. Anything earlier than July 31, 2023 is no longer eligible to protest.
See attached system seniority lists for July 2023 and January 2024, if there is a discrepancy in your dates – contact the Local either through a Shop Steward or by email at twulocal505@gmail.com. You must complete a Seniority Protest Form and turn in no later than March 1, 2024.
JCBA Article 11 (L):
Employees who wish to protest any omission or incorrect posting of their seniority must do so by filing a written grievance within thirty (30) days of the most recent January 31st or July 31st seniority roster. Seniority protests will be strictly confined to errors, changes or omissions which occurred on the most recent seniority posting only. Any employee returning from a leave shall have a period of thirty (30) days from the date of his return to service to file a protest.
