Remember “Equity Distribution” ?
It’s been a while since that payout…..2018…..well there is just a little bit (little) more coming your way……..American has finally exited bankruptcy !
Just as a reminder, this was part of the bankruptcy agreement with the TWU-IAM; eligible Members received stock and cash distributions of AAL stock based on the legacy AA Plan of Reorganization.
Eligible Members : active on AA Payroll between 11.29.2011 and 06.26.2013, or on an approved Leave of Absence (see attached for FT/PT)
So, the final distribution will be coming out soon. Don’t expect much……see attached letter from TWU International for more details.
This money will come in the form of a check, not auto-deposit, so double check that your mailing address is correct in Jetnet.

There is an actual stock component to this payout.......you will need to log on or set up log in on the Computershare website to view your stock award or to sell the awarded shares.
Go to computershare.com and go to "Login to Employee Online" type in American Airlines for Company Name, then you can Log In and view My Portfolio, you will see the shares and the value based on current stock price, you may sell or hold whichever you decide.
