You are currently using an outdated version of the Duo Mobile app that American uses for multi-factor authentication. This version will no longer be supported beginning March 31.
You will need to update your Duo Mobile app to the latest version available in your device’s app store as soon as possible to continue accessing key information.
Key points
You can still use the Duo Mobile app until March 30 to authenticate as you do today.
Beginning March 31, team members running Duo Mobile versions earlier than 4.85.0 will lose all authentication functionality, which will limit the ability to access key information such as Pay Portal.
Android update instructions
Open the Google Play Store.
At the top right, tap the profile icon.
Tap Manage apps & device.
Under Updates available, tap See details.
Next to Duo, tap Update.
Apple update instructions
Go to the App Store.
Tap your profile picture or icon in the top right.
Scroll down, then tap Update next to Duo.
To update all your apps at the same time, tap Update all
