It's time again for the Michael J.Quill Scholarship Program
Michael J. Quill was the founder of the Transport Workers Union and we have a yearly college scholarship. Application deadline is May 1, 2023, all apps must be postmarked by this date - late entries will not be accepted.
Eligibility for the scholarship: applicant must be a High School senior and one of the following:
Son or Daughter of a TWU Member in good standing
Son or Daughter of a deceased Member, who was in good standing at time of death
Son or Daughter of a pensioner (living or deceased) who retired in good standing
Son or Daughter of a Member who was forced to separate due to illness or injury
Dependent Brother or Sister of Member, under the age of 21, in good standing
Awards, 15 total, are for a total of $4800.00 which will be paid out at $1200.00 each year for 4 years
