It's almost time for our Local Officer elections ...... for a 3-year term of 2027, 2028, and 2029
If you are interested in running for office, see attached for information regarding offices up for election and the duties of office. Also, requirements for running and process, including important deadlines.
Petitions will be available from a Steward or Union Rep on August 14th. Voting will be in October and term will begin in January 2027.
Being a Union Officer is an important part of the labor movement both locally and nationally - it's a difficult but rewarding task. You can still participate in the Local without running for office by supporting your Officers, attending Membership Meetings, and by voting in our Local Elections.
NOTE: only SFO Members can run and vote for Section Chairperson
