New Shift Bid – Again !!
There will be another Shift Bid for the Ramp – maybe this time it will be better. Management is considering input from a “committee” that hopefully will guide him to a bid that works better than the last 3. The Union is advocating for more heads, get some of the FT transfers, PT to FT temporary upgrades (90 days), making the PT shifts 6 hours instead of 4, and maybe have some 10 hour shifts for the FT FSC. No matter how you slice it the problem will never be solved unless they bring in more help. Local 505 is actively involved to try and get the heads we need.
Shift Bid will start on March 9, 2019; Roster/Times/Phone Numbers on February 17, 2019; Bid Selections on February 24, 2019; and actual Shift Bid on February 28, 2019.
As always if you are out on any type of leave and want to bid – you must submit documentation prior to your bid time on the 24th which clears you to Full Duty by March 9, 2019.
Rosters and Selections will be posted here as soon as provided by Management.
